May 12, 2004 — After extensive testing by Comast Corporation beginning in October, 2003, Extreme Broadband is proud to announce that the company's splitter products have been approved as of May 12, 2004.
Extreme Broadband, a relatively new player in the broadband components marketplace, is one of only five firms in the US to win Comcast approval from a field of 15 manufacturers. All products from Extreme Broadband are manufactured in ISO 9000-certified factories.
Comcast conducted exhaustive testing for compliance to SCTE standards and their own tough standards, including:

- RF performance testing at 3 different temperatures
