Extreme Broadband’s Infinity Premise Plus™ data amplifiers are now available with an optional solid-state passive Data Port Stabilization circuit that preserves the normal operating parameters at the input of the amplifier at all times, regardless of the power condition.

The patent pending Data Port Stabilization option ensures micro-reflections do not interrupt data and VoIP service during a power failure. Since high-speed data and VoIP are becoming a standard features of basic CATV service, Extreme’s new Data Port Stabilization™ technology provides an unprecedented level of connection reliability where critical 911 services are mandatory.

All Infinity Premise Plus Data amplifiers have an integral passive data port to provide the greatest reliability in high-speed data and VoIP service. This dedicated passive port is always on and keeps the primary data services active and stable in the event of a power failure. This is a must for e911 compliance.

In contrast to switched bypass, Extreme Broadband’s patent-pending Data Port Stabilization™ technology is a completely solid-state design that eliminates mechanical switches. This maintains the correct impedance balance at the input of the amplifier regardless of the incoming power condition. This new capability also adds a greater level of confidence to Extreme’s existing passive data port technology by providing complete connection stability in the event of a power outage.

Extreme Broadband’s Data Port Stabilization option is available in 1-, 4-, and 8-output Infinity Premise Plus data amplifiers. The 8-output model is also available with bi-directional unity gain in addition to the passive data port. As with all other members of the revolutionary Infinity Premise System family, the IPA1000DS Series amplifier eliminates jumpers, lowers inventory cost and improves system reliability.
