January 1, 2003 — Jay Shapson, who founded Antronix Sales in January 1981 and served as the company's president until May 2002, has launched a new company - Extreme Broadband Engineering LLC. The new company, headquartered in Englishtown, NJ, is a manufacturer of cable products that are designed to help customers improve the overall performance of their cable systems, while allowing installers to lower installation and maintenance costs. Extreme is focused on improving existing technologies and also introducing new and innovative products to the cable industry.
Extreme Broadband will launch a new, improved line of splitters and amplifiers that are designed to provide unprecedented installation flexibility, reducing both the time to install and cabling complexity. Two new product brands will be introduced: True-Flex™ and Data Plus™ splitters incorporate all the rugged features installers need, plus an alternate mounting tab that permits horizontal or vertical installation in a premise box or home environment.
Extreme Broadband is privileged to be represented for distribution by these national firms in the U.S.: MegaHertz Corporation, Sunset Enterprises, Inc., and in Canada by TriSpec Communications.
Extreme Broadband's mission will be to become the industry leader by offering better products, better thinking, and better long-term performance.
