September 21, 2007 — Extreme Broadband Engineering LLC is pleased to introduce its new 28-page broadband products selection guide, packed with many new products previously unavailable to the marketplace. A large part of the new catalog covers the unique Infinity Premise System™ line, featuring amplifiers, splitter modules, VoIP cable modem modules, and power inserter modules all designed to work together as a truly integrated system.

Broadband Product Selection Guide

Extreme Broadband's patented Infinity Premise™ System is a whole new line of broadband premises Amplifiers and External Modules with built-in advantages not currently available anywhere else. The fully integrated family of components incorporates Extreme’s unique FIC-Port™ technology, which is designed to eliminate the use of jumper cables between the amplifier and external components, thus saving installation time and labor cost while improving system reliability.

One of the most innovative products in the Infinity Premise line is the Symmetry Plus™ amplifier series, which is designed for VoIP deployment. Available in either 1-output or 8-output models, these products are self-contained with unity forward and reverse gain symmetry, plus an integrated passive VoIP/Modem data port. The 8-output model, IPA1008D-RSVF, is constructed in a True-Flex™ housing so that it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically to fit neatly in a premises enclosure, and replaces several components in a traditional installation. The device is designed to be a cost- and labor-savings superstar for multiple output installations.

Also featured in the new catalog is a complete line of premises hardware, including ground bonding blocks, feedthrough connectors and F-Port weather seals.
